FOSSCoach at OSCON 2008 is an event designed to share and improve the essential skills required to participate in collaborative, free and open online projects like Firefox® and Wikipedia.

The event features a mix of educational presentations and hands-on coaching from experts in participatory communities. To reserve your spot, please register (its free.)


Overview

The OSCON team has kindly provided two rooms for the three main days of their conference.

One room will feature presentations on the key processes, technologies and tools used in projects like Firefox® and Wikipedia.

The other room will be set aside for hands-on demonstrations, coaching and informal discussions.

The event will be held in rooms E143 and E144 at the Oregon Convention Center (777 NE Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Portland, Oregon 97232)

Public Transit

Driving Directions

The Oregon Convention Center (OCC) is accessible via Interstate Freeway I-5 north from exit 302A (Rose Quarter) and I-84 west exit 1 (Lloyd Blvd.). It is bound by Holladay Street, Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Lloyd Blvd. and NE First Ave. Onsite parking is available for $8 per day (prices subject to change). Enter the garage via First Avenue.
