FOSSCoach at OSCON 2008 is an event designed to share and improve the essential skills required to participate in collaborative, free and open online projects like Firefox® and Wikipedia.

Overview The OSCON team has kindly provided two rooms for the three main days of their conference. One room will feature presentations on the key processes, technologies and tools used in projects like Firefox® and Wikipedia. The other room will be set aside for hands-on demonstrations, coaching and informal discussions. Thank you very much for organizing this. These sessions were great. I would suggest that next year you print up several hundred copies of the FOSScoach schedule and scatter them around next to the OSCON programs, and also clearly indicate that they are free and open to expo hall attendees.

Since these sessions are not listed in the program, it's hard to find out about them. Most people didn't know about them.

I look forward to going to the sessions next year!
